This is a unique opportunity to really understand what clay is, where it comes from, and how to make your own. The 3 hour workshop will cover chemistry, history, sourcing, processing, types, and formulating.
No experience necessary!!!!!!
All of my knowledge on the subject will be shared with you in PDF form and in-person in lecture format. We will look into different raw materials by researching and testing them. In the workshop portion of this class, we will mix a clay body and test different raw materials to see how they affect the plasticity and texture.
