Paint Your Pet Workshop
Document the love you have for your little pal forever using a permanent medium!!!!
May 17th, 2025 9am-1pm
In this four-hour workshop, lead by Maria de la Luz Leake, students will learn the process of creating an animal portrait using a clay slab and underglazes. Students will be provided with all materials to transfer their animal image onto a slab of clay, then utilize basic painting or sgraffito (carving) techniques to create a work of art!
No experience necessary!
Finished pieces can we left as is, or made into a wall hanging or yard stake. You may decide during the workshop.
Feel free to bring your own tools if you have them, NOT needed.
All work will be fired within 30 days of workshop.
Students will be emailed when their work is finished can be picked up. ***Must be picked up within 30 days of notification***
****Students will need to bring an actual physical printed 8"x 10" color photo/image of the animal of their choice. Use above images for size references, pet’s face should fill the majority of this space.****
****Minors are welcome!!!!! but only with the purchase of an adult ticket as well.****MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED ENTIRE TIME****
If event fills up, we will add another date and time!
