Jesselyn Gordon is a San Antonio based ceramic artist and founder of Thrown Studio, a community-driven artist residency ceramics space in the city. After starting in a backyard shed, she built her current studio from the ground up, creating a space where artists can work, teach, collaborate and grow. Rooted in the belief that creativity brings community together, she fosters accessibility, education and collaboration in the arts.

Her work is a dialogue between emotion, utility, and human experience; each piece reflects her evolving exploration of architectural possibilities and vulnerability. Her vessels celebrate and hold onto the quiet beauty of existence and the profound experiences that make us who we are.
